In 2025, the Arena auf Ewald in Herten once again established itself as one of the most attractive open-air concert venues in the Ruhr area. International and national pop stars performed against the industrial backdrop of the former Zeche Ewald — the unique atmosphere of industrial history and concert excitement made the concert evenings a highlight of the Ruhr area summer.
In recent years, the Arena auf Ewald has established itself as an important open-air concert venue in the western Ruhr area. With the concept "Industrial culture meets live music," the concert arena creates a special atmosphere that attracts audiences from all over the Ruhr area. An even more ambitious program is planned for 2026 — Ronan Keating on July 13 is one of the highlights.
