Overview

The Roman Days 2025 took place in early August 2025 at the Roman Villa Borg in Perl — two days of living history spectacle with legionaries, gladiators, ancient crafts, and a market. Thousands of visitors from Saarland, Lorraine, Luxembourg, and the wider region came to the annual major event.

As is traditional, the Roman Days 2025 were among the biggest event highlights of the Villa Borg. Reenactor groups from several European countries demonstrated Roman military, crafts, and daily life. The open gladiator fights and the regular legionary marches were — as always — the biggest crowd-pullers.

Programme

2025 Program: Both days open 10 AM–6 PM, legionary demonstrations and gladiator fights several times daily, ancient crafts in the camp area, market with Roman specialties and replicas, children's program with hands-on activities, Roman catering in the tavern.
