Overview
The Roland-Schützenfest 2025 in Windbergen followed the centuries-old tradition on Whit Sunday. Riders competed against the Roland figure, crossbow shooting and jousting on boats complemented the program, and a new King and Queen were crowned.

In 2025, the Rolandreiten in Windbergen once again attracted hundreds of onlookers — many from the surrounding Dithmarschen villages, some from further afield, and medieval enthusiasts from all over Germany. The festive parade from the church, the three competitive disciplines, and the crowning marked the day's schedule as they have for generations.
