Overview

The 144th Röslau Volks and Wiesenfest 2025 brought residents and guests of the municipality of Röslau and the Fichtelgebirge back to the festival grounds. With a parade, school dance, tent service, and after-work party, the tradition of Upper Franconian Wiesenfeste – Bavarian intangible cultural heritage since 2016 – was also kept alive in 2025.

The 144th edition of the Röslau Volks and Wiesenfest 2025 continued the decades-long tradition. The After-Work Party kicked off the festival calendar on Thursday evening, and the parade on Saturday at 1:00 PM brought together schoolchildren, musicians, clubs, and dignitaries.

The tent service on Sunday, the communal singing of the Fichtelgebirge song, and the lively festival tent program were again highlights of the four-day festival. With this edition, Röslau reaffirmed its role as one of the main custodians of Upper Franconian Wiesenfest culture.
