In 2025, Röslau in the Fichtelgebirge also celebrated its traditional Altkirchweih with a Kirchweih procession, festive church service, and Weißwurst breakfast on Sunday morning. For generations, this historic Kirchweih has been the early June highlight in Röslau's festival calendar, complemented by the large Wiesenfest in July.

Altkirchweih 2025

The Röslau Altkirchweih 2025 followed the proven choreography of previous years. The highlight in 2025 was again the traditional Kirchweih procession on Sunday morning, which led from the community center to the parish church. This was followed by a festive church service and a communal Weißwurst breakfast. The local clubs provided catering and entertainment at the Röslau market square over the three festival days. Unlike the famous Röslau Wiesenfest in July, the Altkirchweih is entirely dedicated to ecclesiastical and village traditions and is an authentic testament to Upper Franconian Kirchweih culture in the Fichtelgebirge.
