Overview
The 2025 season of the Ritterschauspiele Kiefersfelden continued the tradition of over 400 years. As in every season, a single play and nine to ten performances in August were on the programme – supported by an ensemble of around one hundred Kiefersfelden amateur actors.
In 2025, the Theatergemeinde Kiefersfelden e.V. once again brought a classic knightly play to the stage of its own theatre on Rathausplatz. The season spanned four August weekends, with the premiere on the first Saturday of the month and performances on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday dates.
As every year, the theatre attracted visitors from the entire Inn Valley, Tyrol, Upper Bavaria, and beyond – not a tourist spectacle, but a seriously maintained folk theatre tradition with its own tone, its own stage technology, and a volunteer ensemble.
