Overview

The 15th Riesenbecker Sixdays 2025 took place in May – six stages across the Tecklenburger hills with a total of approx. 140 km. Several thousand participants from the Münsterland region, classic Echsenstelzen welcomes, and Volksfest atmosphere at the stage finish lines. 15 years of stage running in Tecklenburger Land. Six daily running routes covering approx. 140 km with Volksfest atmosphere at the stage finish lines – one of the most distinctive running events in Münsterland.

The 2025 edition continued the unbroken Münsterland sports tradition since 2010. Stages, Volksbank presentation, live music, and Echsenstelzen – the proven format.

Start each day at the Piscine Riesenbeck parking lot (Hörstel). Daily running routes of varying lengths (5–30 km) through the Tecklenburger hills with forests, streams, and small villages. At the daily finish lines, characteristic Echsenstelzen performances, live music with acoustic acts and small bands, showmen's stations with food trucks and drink stands, catering for runners and families. Presented by Volksbank im Münsterland.
