Edition 2025 — Volksfest Riedenburg
The 75th edition of the Riedenburg Volksfest in 2025 marked three-quarters of a century of Riedenburg folk festival tradition. As every year, Krieger brewery festival beer, brass music, the crowning of the Three-Castle Queen, and the Schafkopf tournament combined to create the proven folk festival experience in the Altmühltal Nature Park. The festival tent was well-filled over five days; guests from Riedenburg, Kelheim, Eichstätt, and the wider region came for the major summer highlight in the Altmühltal.
75th Volksfest – Anniversary 2025
With its 75th edition, the Riedenburg Volksfest celebrated a remarkable community and town anniversary in 2025. The crowning of the Three-Castle Queen, the Schafkopf tournament on Saturday, and the festival tent program with brass bands continued all the established elements.
Festival Culture of the Altmühltal
As every year, the 2025 Volksfest remained a firm date in the event calendar of the Altmühltal Nature Park, attracting guests from Lower Bavaria, Middle Franconia, and Upper Palatinate.
