Overview
The 2025 Pfingstkirmes in Rheurdt once again brought festive cheer to the rural Lower Rhine community. Four days of Schützenfest and Volksfest at the market square with a civic reception, king's shooting, chain of office handover on Whit Sunday, and Family Day on Whit Monday. The citizens of Rheurdt and guests from the Kleve district attended the program in large numbers.
The format has been proven for years — continuously maintained tradition meets Lower Rhine conviviality. For 2026, the Schützenverein will continue the program in its usual form, with the classic highlights of the civic reception, king's shooting, and chain of office handover.
