Rhein in Flammen Bonn 2025

From May 2 to 4, 2025, Bonn's Rheinaue opened its gates for the 39th time for Rhein in Flammen. Three days of festival, three stages, a medieval market on the Rhine bank, around 30 rides and games, and the classic festival mile through the park made the weekend the opening of Bonn's open-air season.

On Saturday evening, the illuminated ship convoy with about 20 ships started from the Linz pier, sailed up the Rhine along the Siebengebirge scenery, and culminated in the music-synchronized aerial fireworks over the Rheinaue — the traditional highlight of every edition. Around 100,000 visitors celebrated on both Rhine banks. The festival remained free in 2025; the concept of land, water, and pyrotechnic programs has established itself as a trademark since 1987.
