Edition 2025 — Rettichfest

The Rettichfest Freiberg am Neckar 2025 took place, as is traditional, over the Ascension weekend, gathering the Freiberg community and visitors from the Ludwigsburg district for four days at the Wasen festival grounds. The town band, friendly music associations, dance evenings, and a morning pint (Frühschoppen) characterized the festival programme.

Review 2025

The 2025 edition once again confirmed the importance of the Rettichfest for the town of Freiberg am Neckar and the Musikverein Stadtkapelle. Four festival days with a well-filled festival tent, music evenings with the Stadtkapelle and friendly associations, dance evenings with live bands, and a relaxed morning pint (Frühschoppen) on Sunday gave the festival its typical Swabian Volksfest character. Father's Day hikers from the Neckar valley used Thursday as their final stop, and the homemade cakes on Sunday afternoon were, as always, a secret magnet. The proceeds went towards the music association's youth work and instrument maintenance.
