Overview

The 2025 season of the Residenzkonzerte Oettingen ran from May to October in the Baroque Festival Hall of the Residence and in the castle courtyard. The Oettingen Chamber and Bach Orchestras, regional ensembles, and guest soloists filled the season with classical standards, baroque repertoire, and chamber music specialties. The Oettingen Residence Concerts Board organized the event as usual.

In 2025, the Residenzkonzerte season once again attracted a classical music-loving audience from the Donau-Ries region, the neighboring Nördlinger Ries, and the wider Middle Franconian-Swabian area to the Baroque Festival Hall of the Oettingen Residence. The hall's acoustics, its historic interior, and the quality of the ensembles have created a unique overall experience in southern Germany for decades.

The 2025 programming traditionally spanned the spectrum from standard classical literature to specialized programs — from Bach and Handel to Mozart, romantic chamber music works, and occasional contemporary pieces. The membership base of the Board ensures the economic and programmatic continuity of the concert series.
