The Narragonia Regensburg Carnival Society once again shaped the 2025 carnival season with the classic programme of Bavarian carnival tradition. Weiberfasching on Thursday with an all-women's party in Prüfening Castle, Costume Ball on Shrove Saturday with a grand mask parade.
Highlights 2025
The Rose Monday Ball in the RT-Halle Regensburg was once again the highlight – with performances by the Prince and Princess, dance guards, and a grand live programme. The Kehraus on Shrove Tuesday (free admission) attracted a diverse crowd as always, concluding the season together. On Ash Wednesday, the traditional washing of the money bag took place at the Historische Wurstkuchl on the Danube – a satirical closing event where the empty carnival money bags were symbolically washed.
