Overview

The Reeser Kirmes 2025 ran from September 27 to 30 and, as every year, attracted several thousand visitors per day to the city centre. It opened on Saturday at 3:00 PM by Mayor Sebastian Hense with the traditional barrel tapping, accompanied by the Tambourcorps Rees from 2:30 PM and a Happy Hour until 3:30 PM.

Highlights 2025

Around ten large amusement rides were on the Kirmes grounds in 2025 — including classics like "Big Wage", "Rock Express", the "Fantastic Journey" and the chain carousel. New to the programme: the 22-meter-high "X-Factor" ride and the 7D simulator "New World 3000".

Family Monday and Closing Fireworks

On Monday, families benefited from reduced prices at all amusement operators. The grand finale was the spectacular fireworks display on Tuesday evening around 9:00 PM over the Rhine. In 2025, the traditional Reeser Krammarkt also took place for the last time on the Wednesday immediately following the Kirmes — from 2026, it will move to the Rheinfest.

Free admission. Ride prices per attraction, reduced on Family Monday.
