In 2025, the market town of Rattelsdorf also celebrated its traditional Kirchweih with Franconian hospitality, brass band music, and customs. The Kerwa once again confirmed its status as a social highlight of the year in the Upper Franconian village.

The 2025 Rattelsdorfer Kirchweih continued the centuries-old Kerwa tradition: for several days in June, the market town of Rattelsdorf in the Bamberg district celebrated its Kirchweih festival with beer service, hearty Franconian specialties, brass band music, and convivial gatherings. As the central Kerwa of the main town and part of a dense regional Kirchweih calendar, the festival once again confirmed how deeply the Kerwa culture is rooted in the Bamberg region – a living testament to Franconian village community.
