Rastatt Carnival Parade — Edition 2025

The 2025 edition of the Rastatt Carnival Parade took place on Shrove Sunday 2025 in the city center of the Baroque city. As per city carnival tradition, the City of Rastatt organized the two-part program: Narrendorf on the Market Square from 11 AM with DJ and catering stands, followed by the main parade from 2 PM. Dozens of carnival, music, and traditional groups from Rastatt and the Mittelbaden region – carnival societies, Guggenmusik bands, city orchestras, dance troupes, witch guilds – paraded from Hilberthof on Bahnhofstraße via Kapellenstraße, Herrenstraße, Schlossstraße, and Kaiserstraße to the Historic Town Hall on the Market Square. As always, the city awarded creativity prizes (€300/€200/€100) for the most original floats and performances. Thousands of visitors lined the route. The city center closure from 11 AM to 6:30 PM proved successful once again.
