Overview
In 2025, the Rakoczy Festival once again attracted thousands of visitors to Bad Kissingen on the last weekend of July. The historic parade, Rakoczy Festival Ball, illumination, and grand finale fireworks brought the glamorous Belle Époque of the spa town back to life.
The Rakoczy Festival 2025 followed the established three-day schedule: opening ceremony at the Rathausplatz, concerts and historic tours, the social Rakoczy Festival Ball in the Regentenbau, and the grand historic parade on Sunday. Costumed extras embodied famous historic spa guests, and the grand finale fireworks over the spa facilities marked the festive climax. The festival once again confirmed its status as the most significant historical spectacle in Lower Franconia.
