Overview

The Rainbow Days Flensburg 2025 also ran for almost four weeks with around 40 events for queer visibility and diversity. The programme included films, workshops, readings, and self-help groups, with the CSD Parade as the central highlight on the IDAHOBIT date of May 17th at Flensburg Harbour.

The Rainbow Days 2025 continued the festival character of previous years. With around 40 events over four weeks, the 2025 festival was one of the most important queer event series in Schleswig-Holstein. Films, readings, workshops, poetry slams, and self-help group meetings were held at various venues in Flensburg, from cultural institutions to cafés. The CSD Parade on the IDAHOBIT date at the harbour was, as always, the most politically and emotionally charged event of the festival — a demonstration and celebration at the same time, visible far beyond the harbour.
