Overview
In 2025, Queer Slam Berlin continued its monthly series at SO36 — approximately 8 events spread throughout the year, plus a CSD special edition in July and an open-air event in August. Seven slam poets per edition, "Golden Prosecco" for the winner, Christian Ritter as the regular host. The format once again confirmed its role as the most important stage for queer poetry in the capital — Berlin slam poets met guests from Jena, Hamburg, Leipzig, and across Europe.
In 2025, the Queer Slam series reliably took place at SO36, with monthly editions and a summer open-air event. The series further established itself as a central platform for queer poetry in Germany, bringing new voices from Berlin, the German-speaking world, and internationally to the stage. With each year, the reach grows — edition after edition sees lively participation, with advance tickets often selling out.
