Overview
The 2025 Puppet Theatre Days once again brought puppet and figure artists from all over Germany to Altena Castle. School performances for kindergartens and primary schools, adult plays, and family matinees characterized the six-day programme. Organized by the Märkischer Kreis.
As early as 2025, the festival proved that the combination of a castle setting and puppet theatre creates a unique atmosphere. Plays like "Pettersson and Findus," "Dracula," and "The Apprentice Sorcerer Leopold" sold out quickly. The 2026 edition continues the format.
Programme
