Pop-Kultur Festival

The 2025 edition continued the multi-layered festival format. Concert program with newcomers and established acts, discourse formats, performance hybrids, Pop-Kultur Nachwuchs – the program structure has been stable for years. In terms of content, the curatorial focuses varied: specific genres and discourse themes change annually.

With its 11th edition, Pop-Kultur prepared for its 12th edition in 2026 and consolidated its place in the German pop culture calendar. Unlike large commercial festivals, the Pop-Kultur format remains clearly defined curatorially, low-threshold in admission, and broadly themed – a counterpoint to the commercialization of the industry in recent years.
