Overview
The 2025 POOL edition took place in September at DOCK 11 in Prenzlauer Berg. Four days of festival with an international dance film competition, PEARLS awards, POOL Shine special program, and workshop formats for filmmakers and choreographers. A curated selection of the award-winning films then traveled to partner locations in Europe as part of POOL on Tour.
POOL 2025 – Established Format at DOCK 11
In 2025, POOL once again presented four days of international dance film programming at DOCK 11: competition, PEARLS awards ceremony, Shine special showcase, and workshop formats. The festival was accompanied by the year-round Arranging Movement in Film Online Lab and the POOL Dives Deeper interview series.
