Edition 2025 — Ponitzer Lichterfest
The 11th edition of the Ponitzer Lichterfest took place on the first weekend of September 2025. As every year, the courtyard of the Renaissance Castle was transformed into a light art gallery with open-air music and gastronomy from the Castle Café. The festival once again confirmed its importance as a key end-of-summer event in the Altenburger Land district.
Ponitzer Lichterfest 2025
In 2025, Schloss-Café Ponitz, the municipality of Ponitz, and the Friends of the Renaissance Castle jointly organized another atmospheric light art weekend. Light installations in the castle courtyard, open-air concerts in the castle park, and the gastronomic offerings of the Castle Café created a successful combination that has been working since its first edition in 2015.
