Poesiefestival Berlin

The 2025 edition continued the stable, recurring annual format. Poets from various linguistic backgrounds, curated thematic evenings, the central Weltklang Night, readings with translators, and an accompanying program of workshops and school visits formed the content.

With its 26th festival year, the Haus für Poesie once again proved that international poetry has a stable audience in Berlin – even without extensive media coverage. The 2025 edition laid the groundwork for the unusually extensive 2026 edition with its two phases and over 50 participating poets.
