From September 12 to 14, 2025, the 249th edition of the Plum Cake Market was celebrated in Plötzkau. On the festival grounds, the live band Ihr letzter Auftritt, pop singer Linda Feller, and the duo Vintos performed. On Saturday evening, the Plum Cake Market Queen was crowned, and on Sunday, the traditional parade marched through the town.
