Plochinger Frühling and Dance around the Guild Tree

At the Plochinger Frühling 2025, the Plochingen guilds gathered on the market square on Saturday evening, as every year, to erect the artfully decorated Guild Tree. In traditional costumes, musicians and dancers danced around the tall trunk – an old custom that combines craft pride and community spirit. On Sunday, the city center transformed into a promenade with market stalls, live music, and a Sunday opening. Families from Plochingen, Esslingen, and the entire Fils valley took advantage of the spring sunshine for a stroll through the historic alleys, a break in the cafés, and a shopping spree in the open shops.
