Overview
The 2025 Plauen Christmas Market once again attracted tens of thousands of visitors to the major Vogtland city. Plauen Lace decorations, a rotating Christmas pyramid, the Sterntalerparade, and the Bergparade once again shaped the atmosphere on Altmarkt, Nikolaistraße, and Neumarkt.
Plauen Christmas Market 2025
The 2025 edition continued the centuries-old Plauen Christmas tradition. Four weeks of Christmas in Vogtland: over 100 stalls with Ore Mountains folk art, Plauen Lace, mulled wine, and Saxon specialties. The rotating Ore Mountains Christmas pyramid on Altmarkt remained the landmark.
The Sterntalerparade for children and the Vogtland Bergparade were again highlights; an ice rink in the city center extended the winter season into February 2026.
