Overview

In early September 2025, the Pittersdorfer Zeltkerwa once again gathered several hundred guests from Hummeltal, the Hummelgau, and the Bayreuth district around the festival tent on Seeligstraße. Over several days, the "Frohsinn" Youth Club maintained its tradition of brass band music, dance evenings, and Franconian specialties – a reflection of Upper Franconia's Kerwa culture.

In 2025, the "Frohsinn" Pittersdorf Youth Club once again opened the festival tent on Seeligstraße for the annual Zeltkerwa. Throughout the festive days, a program typical for the region was offered: opening evening with Franconian live music, party night for the younger generation, club evening with dancing, and Sunday with a festive service, Frühschoppen, and coffee and cake.

As in previous years, the focus was not only on conviviality but also on customs – from the ceremonial Kerwa-Austanzen to toasting together in the festival tent. Thus, the 2025 Kerwa seamlessly continued a club history of over 130 years and laid the groundwork for the subsequent edition in 2026.
