The fifth edition of the Festival of Children's Books in Schwalenberg took place on June 29, 2025 — with over 20 hands-on workshops in the old town and the usual free atmosphere for families from all over East Westphalia.
In 2025, the motto was again "The old town belongs to the children." More than 20 stations were spread across courtyards and squares of the historic town center. Picture book cinema, Kamishibai performances, print workshops, and reading corners attracted families from the entire region. Admission was free.
