Overview

The Maria Schnee patronal festival 2025 took place on Sunday, August 3rd, 2025, in Aufhausen. As every year, the solemn consecration to Mary was renewed and a candlelight procession was held through the parish village in the evening. Due to the ongoing renovation of the pilgrimage church, the pilgrim masses were already held in the parish church of St. Bartholomew in 2025.

In 2025, the first Sunday in August fell on August 3rd. The Aufhausen parish and the Spiritual Family of the Holy Blood invited to the patronal celebration. As in previous years, the solemn consecration to Mary was renewed in the pilgrim masses; in the evening, the traditional candlelight procession wound its way through the streets of the parish village.

As the pilgrimage church has been undergoing extensive renovation for several years, all services were held in the parish church of St. Bartholomew. Pilgrims from all over the Upper Palatinate and neighboring Lower Bavaria participated.
