Overview

In 2025, Fährbrück celebrated its feast day with the traditional candlelight procession on August 14th and the festive service on August 15th. The pontifical service was led by Dean Stefan Gessner and pilgrimage chaplain Augustinian Father Matthäus Klein; in the evening, Marian Vespers were held in the Byzantine rite.

The celebration in 2025 began on the eve, August 14th, with the candlelight procession in four stations around the pilgrimage church. A wooden Madonna figure, borrowed from Volkach, was carried by members of the Catholic Men's Association St. Hubertus; Father Matthäus Klein gave the sacramental blessing at the end. Participants included the Fährbrück brass band, altar servers from Hausen, the Hubertus Brotherhood Bergtheim, and volunteers from the Hausen fire department.

On the High Feast of the Assumption of Mary, August 15th, Dean Stefan Gessner and pilgrimage chaplain Augustinian Father Matthäus Klein led the festive service. In the evening, Marian Vespers were held in the Byzantine rite with the Eastern Church Choir of the Catholica Unio Würzburg.
