Overview

The 2025 Pilgrimage Festival continued the annual tradition around the Holy Blood Church St. Nikolai in Bad Wilsnack. A church service, medieval market, and regional cuisine in the Gutspark commemorated the unique pilgrimage tradition of the Prignitz region between 1383 and 1552.

The Pilgrimage Festival Bad Wilsnack 2025 continued the annual tradition with which the Evangelical Parish Community Wilsnack Land keeps the medieval pilgrimage history of its church alive. A church service in the Holy Blood Church, a medieval market in the adjacent Gutspark, music, and regional cuisine brought together pilgrims, tourists, and locals.

The Pilgrimage Festival is a fixed part of the town's summer program and also an important stop for the growing number of modern pilgrims traveling on the Berlin–Bad Wilsnack route or via the connections to Heiligengrabe. The combination of deep history, Gothic architecture, and lived present makes this event special.
