Overview

The 151st Pichelsteinerfest Regen took place in late July, as is traditional. Six days of folk festival on two grounds, over 30 music bands, beer tents, rides, a grand parade, the Pichelsteiner stew distribution on festival Monday (3,000 portions), a gondola procession on the Regen river, a 35 m water show spectacle, and a grand finale fireworks display.

Pichelsteinerfest 2025 – 151st Edition

The 151st edition continued the established festival concept. Six festival days at the end of July, two festival grounds, 30+ bands, classic highlights. The Pichelsteiner stew distribution on Monday and the gondola procession on the Regen river remain the identity-defining elements of the festival.

Tradition and 'Genussort' Status

With the official Bavarian 'Genussort' (place of culinary enjoyment) designation awarded since 2018, Regen continues to position itself as a culinary brand in the Bavarian Forest, with the Pichelsteinerfest as its annual highlight.
