The 20th anniversary edition of the Phantastisches Trashfilm-Festival Kassel took place in June 2025 at the kleine bühne 70, celebrating two decades of festival history. Three-day program with Creepy Thursday and international audience award competition. Films from genres such as spooky, horror, western, thriller, animation, and relationship drama.
The 20th edition marked the 20th birthday of the festival, which was launched in Kassel in 2004 and has been running continuously every year since. The program concept remained unchanged: Thursday horror focus ("Creepy Thursday"), Friday and Saturday international competition with audience award ceremony. Venue: kleine bühne 70 (Cassalla Theater, entrance Theaterstübchen), Jordanstraße 11.
