In 2025, the Pfingstmontagsfest auf der Homburg once again gathered thousands of visitors from the Saaletal and the Spessart foothills on the spectacular castle ruins. The Musikverein Gössenheim, choirs from the region, and a comprehensive catering programme ensured a classic Mainfranken Whit Monday event.

The 2025 edition of the Pfingstmontagsfest took place on Whit Monday on the Homburg castle ruins. As in previous years, hikers and festival-goers from Gössenheim, Karsbach, and Wartmannsroth ascended the castle to celebrate the day with music, wine, and specialities.

The Musikverein Gössenheim and guest bands and choirs from the region provided the musical entertainment. The catering and atmosphere followed the established tradition – a Whit Monday that keeps the heritage of 1928 alive.
