In 2025, there was no dedicated Pentecost Market at Kulturkirche Heilig Kreuz Bottrop yet — the format is a premiere for 2026. In its 2025 program, the Kulturkirche focused on other events (concerts, exhibitions, readings) and prepared the new Pentecost format.
The concept of a garden and culture market at the Kulturkirche was developed in 2025. The supporting association established contacts with specialist nurseries, artisans, and regional producers from the Ruhr area and Niederrhein. The premiere in May 2026 builds on this preparatory work — the Pfingstmarkt KulturGarten is intended as a new season opener for Bottrop's city center.
