Pfingstkirchweih Pyrbaum

As in previous years, the 2025 Pfingstkerwa was one of the most important folk festival weekends in Pyrbaum and in the southern district of Neumarkt. The Pyrbaumer Kirwaboum traditionally erected the Kirwabaum, the festival band played Upper Palatinate folk music and traditional marches, and the Kirwa couples danced in full costume on Whit Sunday afternoon. The local press (Nürnberger Nachrichten, Mittelbayerische Zeitung) reported on the event in several articles. For the organizers — Markt Pyrbaum and local clubs — 2025 was again a good Kirwa year, seamlessly carrying over successful elements to the next edition.
