Overview

The 2025 Pfingstfestspiele took place from May 31 to June 9, 2025, at the Festspielhaus Baden-Baden. Ten days of classical programming featuring concert opera performances, symphonic concerts, chamber music, and song recitals. The international classical elite once again performed in the spa town on the edge of the Black Forest — one of Central Europe's most important classical festivals.

Pfingstfestspiele 2025

The 2025 edition continued the tradition of the Pfingstfestspiele Baden-Baden. Concert opera performances, symphonic programs, chamber music, and song recitals with international top artists characterized the festival program. Renowned orchestras (SWR Symphony Orchestra, Berlin Philharmonic, Vienna Symphony Orchestra — depending on the season), first-class soloists, and a dense accompanying program made the ten festival days an intense classical experience.

The Festspielhaus Baden-Baden once again confirmed its status as Germany's most important private classical stage and one of the most significant in Europe. The Pfingstfestspiele remain a central date in the international classical calendar.
