Overview
In 2025, the market town of Grafengehaig once again invited to the Pfingstfest with "Sau am Spieß" (pig on a spit). Residents and hikers from the Frankenwald gathered on Whit Saturday in the town center for suckling pig, beer, and a long festival night with an open end.
The 2025 Whitsun festival in Grafengehaig was once again dedicated to the classic suckling pig roast. Prepared on a spit over embers, the suckling pig was served from 5 p.m.; along with it, beer, snacks, and Franconian specialties were offered.
As in previous years, a hike accompanied the festival day, so many guests arrived in Grafengehaig in the afternoon after a tour through the Frankenwald. The festival once again underscored the event's importance for the club life of the market town.
