Overview

The Peter-und-Paul-Fest 2025 took place from July 4th to 7th, 2025, in Bretten. With warm summer weather, over 125,000 visitors once again flocked to the historic city center to experience the grand parade on Sunday, the battle reenactment on Saturday, and the market and camp activities over four days.

Proven 67th Edition in 2025

The 2025 edition continued the festival's established tradition: 60 historical groups with around 2,500 costumed participants transformed Bretten into a late medieval city. The highlight was once again Sunday with the Grand Parade — thousands of spectators lined the streets, and many hotels in the region were booked months in advance.

Preparation for 2026

Preparations for the 2026 edition began immediately after the festival ended — costume adjustments, new members for the groups, detailed program planning. The 2026 edition will take place from July 3rd to 6th, 2026 — again with the established four-day concept, the battle on Saturday, the parade on Sunday, and the children's festival on Monday.
