Overview
The 2025 edition was still held under the traditional name “Peter-und-Paul-Markt". In Altmarkt and at Schloßpark-Center, Senftenberg offered stalls from local associations and caterers, children's entertainment, and stage music. The experiences from this edition were incorporated into the new concept for 2026 — with a clear separation into themed quarters and a stronger musical program.
Peter-und-Paul-Markt 2025 — Last Edition in the Old Format
The 2025 edition was the last under the classic market format. Stalls from regional caterers and showmen, stage program with local acts, children's activities — the proven concept ran stably but lacked a clear unique selling proposition compared to other city festivals in the region. In autumn 2025, the city of Senftenberg decided to completely revamp the festival for 2026: four themed quarters, a new logo, a new motto, more stages, more program.
