The Perlinale 2025 once again gathered glass bead artists from around the world at the ELIAS Glashütte in Lauscha. Three days of international glass art market, live demonstrations at the torch, and a competition with an auction benefiting children with cancer marked the spring event in the Thuringian Forest. The event confirmed its status as the most important gathering of the German glass bead scene.
Perlinale 2025
The 2025 edition offered three days of glass art in the birthplace of the Christmas bauble. Glass artists from Germany and abroad showcased their works, demonstrated their craft over an open flame, and created beads for the annual competition theme. The auction at the end of the festival raised funds for the Initiative for Children with Cancer Jena. Lauscha tradition and international studio bead art came together as every year.
