Overview

In 2025, the Leopold-Hoesch-Museum Düren presented an annual program featuring an international group exhibition, solo projects, and the annual Peill awards. Focus was placed on contemporary photography, postcolonial sculpture, and film art. The permanent collection, with works by Joseph Beuys, Sigmar Polke, and Markus Lüpertz, remained continuously accessible.

The 2025 season program continued the course of previous years: alternating exhibitions with ambitious curatorial concepts combined with the care of the collection. The Düren location remains a special feature for art audiences traveling from across the region — a museum with national appeal in a medium-sized West German city.
