Edition 2025 — Volksfest Penzberg
The Penzberger Volksfest 2025 took place from late August to early September on the Berghalde. Second season for festival host Robert Schmidt from Straubing. Despite warm weather, the festival recorded around 1,200 visitors daily and attracted many families from the pre-Alpine region.
The 2025 edition of the Penzberger Volksfest took place from August 29 to September 7. It was the second season for festival host Robert Schmidt, who took over after a challenging organizational phase and brought the Volksfest back to Penzberg.
Around 1,200 guests visited the beer tent and amusement rides on the Berghalde daily – although visitor numbers lagged behind record years of previous hosts due to warm weather. Nevertheless, showmen and caterers drew a positive conclusion. Bavarian classics such as roast chicken, liter beers, and grilled fish on a stick were on the menu, as was live music in the beer tent.
