Overview
In November 2025, the Pelzmärtelmarkt Pappenheim once again opened the series of pre-Christmas markets in southern Middle Franconia. In the historic old town, traders, artisans, and restaurateurs gathered for two days – a well-attended weekend for families from the Altmühltal valley and Weißenburg.
In 2025, too, Pappenheim associations, artisans, and restaurateurs met in the old town for the Pelzmärtelmarkt on the first weekend of November. Mulled wine, Franconian bratwurst, gingerbread, and gift ideas from the region created a pre-Christmas atmosphere, while the Pelzmärtel made his appearance as the central figure.
The market once again confirmed its role as a well-attended start to the pre-Christmas season – as one of the events that make Pappenheim known far beyond the city limits.
