The 27th edition of the Pegau Old Town Festival took place in September 2025, combining a city festival and a medieval market in the historic city center. The large medieval camp on the banks of the White Elster with combat demonstrations, craft demonstrations, minstrels, and jesters was once again the heart of the weekend.
Pegau Old Town Festival 2025 — Medieval Times and City Festival
In 2025, the Pegau Old Town Festival once again combined a classic city festival and an authentic medieval market. The large medieval camp on the banks of the White Elster with combat demonstrations, craft demonstrations, minstrels, and jesters, the colorful market on Sunday, and the live program in the city center made the weekend one of the highlights of the cultural calendar in the southern Leipzig district.
