Already in 2025, the exclusive open-air concert by Paul Kalkbrenner in front of the Neues Palais was announced for 2026 and put on sale. Tickets sold out within weeks — an indication of the drawing power of the combination of the Berlin techno brand and the baroque palace backdrop.

First Edition 2026

The concert in front of the Neues Palais is a premiere. 2025 was marked by the announcement and the rapid sell-out. The organizer MVP and the Prussian Palaces and Gardens Foundation worked on the logistical requirements for an open-air concert in the UNESCO World Heritage Site during the preparation phase.

Background

Before Paul Kalkbrenner, very few open-air concerts of popular music took place in Park Sanssouci. The 2026 date is therefore more than just a concert — it is a statement about opening historical sites to contemporary music.
