ParkPerPlex — Festival of International Street and Circus Arts

Review — 9th Edition 2025

In 2025, ParkPerPlex was held for the 9th time, bringing together nine artist formations from six nations in the Stadtpark Norderstedt. The audience experienced a diverse open-air program of clowning, acrobatics, juggling, and walk-acts — from creative, surprising performances to very poetic moments.

Highlights included Imre Bernath from Hungary, who masterfully combined juggling, acrobatics, and improvisation in his interactive family show, and Natalie Reckert from Germany with 'Stones and Water' — a handstand acrobatics performance at the border of dance art. The hands-on circus attracted hundreds of children again, while food trucks provided refreshments along the lakeside promenade and the specially brewed 'BierPerPlex' offered regional festival flair.
