Edition 2025 — PaderPride

PaderPride 2025 traditionally took place in June with Pride Day, demonstration, and street festival at Rathausplatz — organized by AIDS-Hilfe Paderborn. Accompanied by multi-week Pride Weeks with Poetry Slam, discussion panels, film screenings, and the ecumenical service in Paderborn Cathedral. Thousands of participants sent a clear message for visibility and equality for LSBTIQ* people in Ostwestfalen-Lippe — a format that will continue in 2026.

PaderPride 2025

In 2025, AIDS-Hilfe Paderborn also organized PaderPride with Pride Day, a demonstration through the city center, and a street festival at Rathausplatz. The accompanying Pride Weeks featured Poetry Slam, discussion panels, and the ecumenical service in the Cathedral in Paderborn — an important sign of openness between the historically shaped city of churches and the queer community.
