The premiere of the Paderborner Rockfestival took place in Spring 2025 at the PaderHalle — as an initiative of the local association ProRock Paderborn. The first edition established the format: three acts from the Blues Rock and Progressive Rock spectrum, a classic concert evening with a clearly genre-focused profile.

1st Paderborner Rockfestival 2025

The Paderborner Rockfestival launched in 2025 as a new concert series at the PaderHalle. The organizer is the local concert association ProRock Paderborn, which conceived the festival with the aim of establishing Blues Rock and Progressive Rock in a region that was rarely served by these genres until now.

The concept of the first edition followed the template that will also be continued in 2026: three acts on a concert evening stage, each with their own main set, at the PaderHalle in Ostwestfalen. The premiere proved that the format finds an audience — and laid the foundation for the 2nd edition announced for 2026 with Rockpommel's Band, Hamburg Blues Band, and Rosalie Cunningham.
